Jewish Feast Days, Israel, and the World

[English Translation]

“‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
    and they will prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in the heavens above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20 The sun will be turned to darkness
    and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
21 And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

                                                   ~Acts 2:17-21

The Bible states, in the last days before Jesus returns when Israel is to face great disasters and persecutions from the Anti-Christ, signs and wonders will show in the heaven and the earth; the sun will turn into darkness (solar eclipse) and the moon into blood (lunar eclipse).
Starting from times of ancient Israel, the rabbis knew that when the solar eclipse occurred, it meant that a big disaster or catastrophe that will occur on Earth. When the moon eclipse occurred, it meant that a big disaster or catastrophe will occur in Israel.

In the event that the solar and/or moon eclipses occur during the Jewish feasts, it portends a bigger measure of impact in Israel and the world. For example, within two years after Israel became a country again in 1948, numerous battles were fought between Israel and the surrounding Arabic countries that threatened the safety of Israel. Between 1949 to 1950, there were four moon eclipses and two solar eclipses that occurred during the Jewish feast days. The moon eclipses occurred during the Passover on April 4, 1949; Sukkot on October 7, 1949; Passover on April 2, 1950; and Sukkot on September 26, 1950. The solar eclipses occurred during the first day of the new year on March 18th, 1950 and during the Rosh Hashana on September 12th, 1950.

Another example is the famous Six Day War that occurred in June of 1967, where Israel regained the ownership of Jerusalem on June 12, 1967. Within those two years between 1967 and 1968, there were four moon eclipses and two solar eclipses and they occurred during the Jewish feast times. Four moon eclipses occurred during the following days: Passover on April 24, 1967; Sukkot on October 18, 1967; Passover on April 13, 1968; and Sukkot on October 6, 19686. The two solar eclipses occurred during the first day of the new year on March 28, 1968 and Rosh Hashana on September 22, 1968.

Within the upcoming two years between 2014 and 2015, four moon eclipses and two solar eclipses will occur during the Jewish feast times. Four moon eclipses will occur during Passover on April 15, 2014; Sukkot on October 8, 2014; Passover on April 4, 2015; and Sukkot on September 8, 2015. Two solar eclipses will occur during the first day of Jewish new year on March 20, 2015 and Rosh Hashana on September 13, 2015.
What kind of big things will occur in Israel during the years of 2014 and 2015? What kind of revelation about the end times is our Lord trying to show us with such extraordinary combinations of solar eclipse, moon eclipse and Jewish feast times?

24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.
                                                                                                    ~Luke 21:24-28
